I had the pleasure of working with Nahtalie & Winston for some time before their wedding. Old friends of my husbands, and new friends of mine, it as really special for me to be involved in their magical day. With both Nahtalie and I planning our weddings a month apart there were countless (well over 500 I think) e-mails back and forth between us that held much more in conversation than just what type of stationary they wanted. We discussed every little joy and woe in the planning of our weddings, brought each other off breaking points and helped each other remember that this was supposed to be about love, and fun!
Nahtalie set up a website through The Knot with all her wedding details at their gorgeous, increasingly popular wedding venue, Avianto, which is just outside Gauteng in South Africa.
We set about creating her invites to match her colour combination, which was a scrumptious blend of champagne, vanilla, fudge combined with rich chocolate, (YUM!!) to match perfectly with her rustic, tuscan venue. The theme throughout the wedding was cute dots, which we used on across all her stationary, her website and she even decorated her wedding cupcakes with brown and white polka dots to match.
